Why do we like this?

Well, I'm certainly not glad to find out that starting reviews is something that requires practice; a skill that I'm out of touch with at present. But once the keys get clattering it's a whole different story. Much like a root breaking through its seed shell, or Ex Olympic releasing music: the product is born out of an initial momentum.

Here's to Nick Van Reenen's, AKA Ex Olympic, leaves being basted in sunlight. So far it's been a promising start to his most recent alias, and the holy matrimony that is the joining with the exciting Cape Town-based 1991.
