Why do we like this?
"Our Generation" is the first time I've come across rising UK act Everyone You Know and I have to admit I'm hooked.
Consisting of brothers Rhys Kirkby-Cox and Harvey Kirkby the duo blur the lines between early '00s hip-hop and '90s indie pop with their latest track.
Reminiscent of The Streets (they even reference A Grand Don't Come For Free) the London brothers explore modern society through vibrant depictions of suburban life, their lyrics backed by melodic instrumentation that will fill you with feelings of nostalgia.
"Our Generation" is the first single from Everyone You Know's forthcoming debut EP, Cheer Up Charlie, set for release in the coming months.
