Why do we like this?

This London-based singer-songwriter brings you in all kinds of directions throughout this track.

As I was listening to it, I felt like I was on some sort of mystical ride. It's an experimental folk song that belongs in an alternative fairy tale, since it is so gentle, strong and mesmerizing. There’s a steady build up that feels commanding, even though her voice is always airy (and sometimes sounds slightly haunting).

This song is from her new debut album, Don't Let The Ink Dry, that has a dozen splendid songs by the rising artist. But she isn’t new to the business, since she has previously toured and collaborated with The National. While this is only our first glimpse into Eve Owen's artistry, she has already set herself apart by creating a style that is super original.
