I'm sitting at this hidden-secret of a cafe in Forest Hills, Queens, watching and listening to a jazz singer sing his guts out and a pianist, amateurishly rock the keys in front of him away as if they were trying to escape from his brut finger-pokes.
The lights are low, and the candles on every table are lit. I'm on my 3rd beer and second coffee. I've been knocking down more pages and chapters of my novel, writing all day.
I take a break from the novel, but continue to write and so I throw on this new Evan Wize jam, "Our Love," and the whole world suddenly just makes even more sense.
The song finishes, I put it on repeat, one more time and after that second listen I continue on with writing my novel.
Thanks for the much needed break, today, E. Wize.
"Our Love," is a soulful jam of good production and very good vocal production. The mix is solid, the groove is smooth and enjoyable and the overall listen is golden. It's a smooth piece that relaxes your body and mind and sets a great mental mood.
