Why do we like this?

Eustace the Dragon wanted their first full release to feel less like a studio album, and more like a campfire hang. And after more than four years as a band, these three Minneapolis musicians finally have made that a reality. "Miss" is the first track off of Glad Friends, out September 29, 2017.

Blending country and city vibes, Jessica Smith and Danny and Amanda Churchill create low-fi folk melodies rich in vocal harmonies. "Miss" is a star example of their sweet and sultry tone, lyrical prowess, and heartbreaking honesty. You'll hear brass and strings in addition to all their voices weaving a textured document of friendship, collaboration and emotion.

"Some of the tracks on this record are some of the very first songs we ever wrote together," according to the band. "One of our desires for the album was that it would sort of document who we are, what we've done so far, and that it would be the very best that we could currently offer."
