Johan Angergård has been quite a prolific Swede when it comes producing music -- from the indie pop twee sensations Acid House Kings to 80s new wave nostalgia with The Legends, from majestic pop harmonies in Club 8 to the more interesting and experimental pop noises from Pallers. But his new digs, Eternal Death, seem to have tied together a lot of those previous efforts into one cohesive sound.
Teaming up with vocalist Elin Berlin, he's produced another fresh sound with new track “Cry.” The production paints layers of landscapes made of synths that bounce, pulse, and beat like a rampant heart. Berlin’s vocals cry over the beautiful noise like an angel announcing to the heavens.
If the Swedish duo of Angergård and Berlin are set to produce this kind of bubbling pop, then Eternal Death will be quite a bright light.
