Why do we like this?
Etches is a five-piece band based in Liverpool, England with only a few tracks to their name. Their first single, "Let's Move In," was released in October 2013 to much acclaim, and in the latter half of 2013 they were hunkered down in a studio with producer Al Groves working on more material.
Now, new single "The Charm Offensive," is circulating on the Internet. The track starts off with an electronic rock sequence and builds up to a fuller post rock sound that draws similarities to bands like Interpol because of the intricate arrangements.
"The Charm Offensive" is set for release on February 24 via Club.The.Mammoth Records. If you want more of Etches, listen to them on SoundCloud.
