Why do we like this?

There's a lot of new music floating out there today (eg, Lorde, Rhye, Emancipator), but this single by Erlend Øye stands out as one of my favorites.

Given that yesterday's song of the day was Kings Of Convenience (of which Erlend happens to be one half), you wouldn't be wrong to call me "biased" toward this sound. I am, and I'll readily admit it: I friggin' love this guy.
