There's a good chance you're familiar with Erlend Øye: he makes up one half of Kings of Convenience, and was also the front-man for the now-defunct The Whitest Boy Alive. And if you are familiar, then you're probably just as excited as I am to hear a brand new track.
But wait, there's more! Turns out Erlend is actually on the cusp of releasing an entire album of solo work titledLegao, due in early October via Bubbles Records. The work was recorded in Reykjavik alongside the Icelandic reggae group Hjalmar, which goes a long way explaining the upbeat sound.
