Empire of the Sun The Thrill (Ft. Wiz Khalifa)

Occasionally I have days where I can't find a new song worthy of being featured as Song of the Day. In those cases, I'll revert back to something from way back when. Today, you're lucky that I've chosen Wiz Khalifa's rendition of "The Thrill" by Empire of the Sun. Sure, there's a good chance you've heard it. And if so, there's also a good chance you don't mind hearing it again.

The song was originally released about two years ago, somewhat predating (or perhaps inciting) the success of Wiz. In fact, it looks like it made its way onto the internet before his 2009 release of Deal or No Deal, so may have actually been part of the hype process. Either way, it remains one of my favorite indie-rock/hip-hop remixes.
