Nestling within the ethereal mix is this Emily Reo track, which fits into the rainy, calm aesthetic of the mix perfectly. A cover of a Neil Young original, "On the Beach," feels like what might happen if Shlohmo got behind the keys for a folk album.
It interesting to hear what conventional vocals - if you can label Reo's that way - sound like with the very experimental sounds of the beat scene in the backdrop. Based on this track, we expect to hear a lot more crossover like this.
