Why do we like this?

Personally, the '80s weren't my favorite. One trend from that period that does have legs, in my opinion, is synth house. However, that could also be stripped down and psychoanalyzed as a manifestation of my obsession with cleanliness.

The synth-work on "L.E.V.E.L" is so squeaky clean, in fact, that you could definitely eat off of it if it were tangible. So, if you're hungry, when "L.E.V.E.L" is finished, and you are desperately scrounging for more of the same, make sure to follow this link. It'll take you to another one of my favorites, of Rottmayer's, one which I'm surprised I didn't put up on Indie Shuffle ages ago.

At the end of this all, I'm still definitely a '70s guy, although now I'm less likely to scoff at everything from the decade that followed it, which is pretty much all thanks to Emil.
