Why do we like this?
Sydney's Embassy has already been featured a couple of times on Indie Shuffle, but only on playlists - a Sunday Night Chill and before that, a Friday Five. For this talented producer, it's high time he received a post of his own, and luckily he's just released a brand new track.
Proficient on jazz bass and guitar, "Forgotten (Short Memory)" shows off his musicianship in the way the track is put together. Staggered beats, echoing samples and of course, that bass, make for one incredibly smooth ride. You can clearly see how delicately this track has been structured in its layering, and it's interesting to try and pick out Embassy's varied influences in different sections. Best of all, it's a "name your price" download on his Bandcamp.
