Why do we like this?
I've been a huge fan of Emancipator for donkey's years. While I haven't loved everything he's put out, I'd say about 80% of it ends up passing the test. And when you consider that he's released something like 100+ songs, that's a pretty damned good ratio.
This latest collaboration with Cloudchord manages to keep consistent with prior trends, and "Jade" is for me the standout of their release. It's fairly safe and straight, reminiscent of Bonobo - which leads me to believe that there's gonna be a huge crossover in fanbase there.
There are five songs in total on the release which is titled Citrus Fever Dream. Definitely recommend giving it a listen.
