Okay, so I initially took a pass on this submission because I was thrown off by the fact that the first ~20 seconds are pretty quiet. I was listening through some pretty high quality speakers, and while I could tel there was some ambiance, it seemed all off.
Fortunately, I went back for another listen with headphones in a completely silent environment, and indeed: underlying the ambiance are samples from the ongoing Black Rock protests.
All that aside, the real reason I'm drawn to this track is because is just has an incredibly powerful and awesome progression that sends shudders down my spine everytime I listen. Super duper good.
Who is Em Bee? Not sure. So, I'll just leave this here:
The producer for the track chooses to remain anonymous, to more directly shine a light on the music and the cause. Listeners who want to learn more about the STILL ongoing situation can visit this website: standwithstandingrock.net
