Sofi Tukker takes me places, they always have, their sound is an electric combination of queer noise and pure unadulterated joy. So when they go out and touch an already pulsing song with their remixed inspiration - I can't help but be enthralled.
The remix of "Strut" makes all the electro noise of the already bopping song and pushes it beyond the limits of what they already stood for - a clubby track becomes a booming layer of club rhythms hard-hitting vocals and a dancehall undertone that doesn't let go until the very last minute and even then it stays.
