Twenty year veteran and Los Angeles native DJ Vice has given Elliphant's "Down On Life" a massive moobathon facelift! Elliphant's voice is as inspirational as the illustration given by Jay-Z during a Power 105.1 interview about the cowboy that gallops up the mountain, only to find thousands of Indians. The cowboy then retreats with arrows in his back to warn his troupe. In the words of the Jigga Man himself, "And then we [Kanye West] go back and conquer all of it." The SKAM artist would supply the necessary remix that would generate the high-energy motivation needed for such a conquest.
DJ Vice has produced several hits, such as, the mega dubstep track "Never Let You Go" remix and Rita Ora's "How We Do (Party)" remix. The "Down On Life" remix falls in line with impressive productions from this former wedding DJ.
