The UK seems to be a hot bed of talented female singers at the moment. Every week there's a new golden voice turning heads and this week it's 18-year-old Ellie Occleston.
Originally growing up on Merseyside, Occleston moved with her family to Spain at age 11. Facing the challenge of a new environment Occleston immersed herself in music, learning the guitar and piano. Persuading her parents to move back to the UK so she could chase her musical dreams at 16, Occleston is ready to stake her claim as one to watch in 2018
Debut single "Splinters" is a haunting piano ballad making use of Occleston's inviting vocals. Illustrating a tough time in her life when things could have gone either way, Occleston fuels "Splinters" with raw emotion.
Produced by Jon Moon (Amy Winehouse, Florence and the Machine) this is a fantastic first release for the rising UK starlet.
