I went on a roadtrip for Thanksgiving with my friend (and fellow Indie Shuffle blogger) Carolina, and she wouldn't stop talking about UK singer/songwriter Ellie Goulding. She played me a few of her songs, and I had to admit that she was pretty awesome.
Goulding is only 23 years old and released her full-length album Lights in March 2010. She's been compared to Florence + the Machine, Marina & the Diamonds, and Robyn.
Her newest release is actually a re-release of that album, titled Bright Lights, slated for release tomorrow. The Elton John cover "Young Song" is a single off of that re-release, which has gained quite a bit of popularity lately after Sir Elton himself said, "I think Ellie Goulding has done a brilliant job with her cover. She's changed the arrangement up and it's been done very well."

I think everyone can enjoy the sweet little tune of this blonde bombshell. Today's Bonus track is also a cover, one that we've seen remixed before on Indie Shuffle. I think Ellie lends it a little something special.
