Why do we like this?

Shook's introduction of slick synth and funky bass bring a whole new take to Ellie Goulding's "Lights." The song comes as part of an EP that includes remixes by artists such as Bassnectar and Max Gordon.

At 24-years-of-age, Ellie quite easily draws comparisons to Adele -- both were recipients of the Critics' Choice Award at the Brit Awards; both were predicted to be number-one breakthrough acts by the BBC; and both have spent time at the top of the UK charts. Oh, and most obviously: both have been remixed.
