Why do we like this?

Not too long ago, Ellie Goulding released a Live BBC1 acoustic cover of The Knife's "Heartbeats." She wasn't the first to do such a cover: as many will be aware, Jose Gonzales did a cover of the same song to great success.

Somehow Victor Klyuchnikov (the man behind Cosmonaut Grechko) has managed to completely fuzz-out the simple acoustic backing Ellie Goulding's cover originally featured. What remains is a beautifully chilled-out underpinning that carries Ellie's voice in a completely fitting manner.
