Why do we like this?
Last week we posted Ellie Goulding's latest single "Anything Could Happen." Today, we give you Blood Diamonds' remix of the track, sliced up and served on a glimmering silver platter.
Starting off strong with Goulding's hypnotic chirps, the engaging electronics triumph over the mild atmospherics in the background. The song seems to stick to the original in the vocal department but the pounding bass and tropical undertones definitely surpass the original in my mind.
The two met this summer at Full Flex Express Tour where her beau Skrillex introduced them, resulting in a rave review of the DJ saying, "Blood Diamonds is the most exciting thing I've heard in a long time and I want us to live together on Mars one day." Who knew Mars would be so tropical?
