Releasing a new song in the future bass genre can be a risky move these days, given that every bedroom producer and their mother is capable of dropping something pretty tolerable.
Elle Gie manages to stand out with something quite interesting, no doubt owing to the sampling of African vocals.
It reminds me of a few things that artists in my hometown of Cape Town are up to, but the fact that Elle Gie finds herself based in Houston puts a whole new spin on it.
