Ella On The Run has been featured on Indie Shuffle previously for her fantastic Ace of Base cover, and continues to assert her alt-pop prowess with "Walk Away." She's just released the music video, so I think it's an appropriate time to revisit this gauzy single.
The Swiss singer/songwriter presents us with a view into lust and forbidden love. Backward-glancing with danceable rhythm, "Walk Away" drifts with piping melodies and simple production.
The video, directed by Stephanie Gautier, mirrors the track's sparsity with swirling kaleidoscopic images of Ella. You can check it out below:
