Why do we like this?

Ella Eyre's debut single "If I Go" caught my attention when it climbed its way up toward the top of Hypem's Popular chart. I didn't recognize her name, which clearly meant it was worth checking out.

(Those of you more keyed up will recognize her from Rudimental's "Waiting All Night").

Turns out that this song -- her debut single -- is pretty darn rock solid. I won't call it "the most original thing ever," mostly because it follows in the vein of lots of other modern female vocalists. But, it's certainly worth paying attention to.

Not bad for a 20-year-old.
