Talented singer/songwriter Eliza Hull is another one of Melbourne's more promising up-and-comers. After receiving plenty of praise for her 2013 EP The Ghosts You Never Catch, which featured the gorgeous lead single "Christopher," Hull has now turned her attention to her upcoming debut album release.
If the album's recently released lead single is any indication of what to expect, The Bones of Us is looking like a pretty impressive record. Having enlisted the production skills of Melbourne favourite Hayden Calnin, "Caught" is a stirring pop ballad which focuses on Hull's powerful and engaging vocals. It's a track that builds superbly toward its impressive climax, a skill we've seen Calnin use on his previous releases. Thumbs up all-round for this one!
"Caught" is officially released today (August 29), while The Bones of Us is due out early next year.
