Why do we like this?
I was sent this track by Elias Krantz, a musician from Stockholm, and was pretty impressed by his instrumental rock sound on his newest album Night Ice. This single "Young Ends" was the first song I listened to, and it's a good introduction to his music.
Krantz says that he worked on this album for around two years, while also maintainting other side projects. The patience and detail show on each track. The music builds slowly and becomes a little more robust with every instrument that is added.
I get a lot of emails from artists touting their new albums/singles, so it's nice to hear a tune or artist stand out, as Krantz's "Young Ends" has. I look forward to hearing more from him in the near future.
Check out his SoundCloud here, and his Facebook page here for more info.
