Why do we like this?

We haven't heard from Jon Sprott, the L.A. producer behind Virtu, since his massive remix of RKCB's "Daydreaming" a few months ago. I'm excited to say he's back with a Flume-esque rework of Elephante's track "Closer" featuring Bishøp.

The track pulls you in with Bishøp's soothing, affected vocals before launching into an energetic drop. Virtu doubles up on vocal effects, giving them both a robotic and heartfelt feel reminiscent of Imogen Heap. The drop is complete with warm synth builds, stuttering hi-hats, and bright electronic elements.

Equal parts laid-back and energized, this catchy remix of "Closer" is sure to become a fast favorite. Show the artists some love on HypeM and grab a free download here.
