Why do we like this?

The last time I wrote about Element was after being swallowed whole by his track "Under The Flesh." While that one was intense and cinematic, the NY producer flexes more mainstream appeal on "Can't Have You."

Featuring the fluttering vocals of Eileen Young, his latest offering is a surprisingly melodic future-bass track. It's got tinny percussion, space-age synths and a gorgeous vocal, but it's missing the X factor that excited me about his more trap-leaning releases.

That being said, "Can't Have You" is well-executed, shows versatility, and can be downloaded for free.
