Why do we like this?
Full disclosure: I was an anime nerd in my teenage years. I mean, I'm not sure that's something to be ashamed about, because I'm not, I'm just saying that I really got off on the shit.

Keeping that in mind, if any of you are familiar with what I'm talking about, the montages that would run prior to the feature episode "” advertising other animes "” often times used music that was pretty bad-ass. I'm thinking of one in particular, it ran ahead of The Dirty Pair and it was this jalopy type, electronic track that rolled a lot like "Find Yourself" from Elek. Though I know nothing of Elek other than his UK location, I'm guessing by this accompanying image that I might not be too far off from his own influences.

Closer to a hard hitting hip-hop instrumental than anything else, listening to a few of Elek's other tracks, it's apparent he's a fan of the lo-fi slow-burner. It's a nice listen, not that it's blowing me away, but you know, it's got a swing to it that's kinda nice.
