Why do we like this?

It's been four years since Electric Guest's sparkling debut, Mondo, but thankfully the duo of Asa Taccone and Michael Compton (along with live performers Todd and Troy Dahlhoff) are back with new single "Dear To Me."

Taken from their still untitled new album, set for release in 2017, "Dear To Me" is a bursting with 80s synth vibes that adds to the indie-meets-electronic production. The harmonies are also excellent, with the HAIM sisters -- Este, Danielle and Alana -- providing backing vocals. 

It's certainly a welcome return from the L.A. act and I for one can't wait to hear what they have in store with their new album.
