Why do we like this?

Smooth soulful vocals? Check. Fantastic production? Check. Name recognition? Not yet...

Elder Island only just landed on my radar, but as a big fan of trip-hop/Bonobo, I'm finding the vibes of "The Big Unknown" to be right up my alley.

The song comes as the second track off their upcoming debut EP, also titledElder Island. It'll be available via Four Thieves Records on the 28th of July, and can be ordered here.
