Okay friends, it’s time to talk about "tech house."
I'm a fan. If you're not, that’s totally cool. As a genre, this one doesn't often make an appearance on Indie Shuffle. I understand this sound is not everyone’s bag.
But it’s my job as a fan of this genre and as a music blogger to sort the wheat from the deep house chaff, so to speak. And to offer up the really good stuff to convince you all that this is worthy of your ear-listening consideration, and to give this kind of music some context.
Having said all of that, I'm not even sure how to correctly pronounce the name of this Dutch producer – Eelke Kleijn. What’s important to know is that Eelke has been making music for a long time.
He first started releasing electronic stuff way back in 2003. Nowadays if he’s not filling dance floors with deep techno jams, he’s making electronic music for TV shows, movie trailers, animations and commercials. Talented guy – he even has a podcast.
If you're in North America right now, Eelke Kleijn is about to kick off a bunch of big city dates. Don't miss the opportunity to experience what he does so well at discerning underground clubs across Europe. Tour details are here.
