Why do we like this?

As they prepare for the release of their fourth long player, In Dream, UK outfit Editors have gifted fans another single with the dark, experimental "The Law."

This tune harks back to the synth-filled third album In This Light And On This Morning, with Tom Smith's familiar baritone blanketing the sparse, icy production.

Slowdive's Rachel Goswell lends her vocals for the airy chorus, with the juxtaposition between her delicate sound and Smith's brooding delivery absolutely wonderful.

In Dreams is set for an October 2 release.
