Why do we like this?

UK band Editors return with "Marching Orders," following up their brooding and intense single released in April, "No Harm."

"Marching Orders" is nearly eight minutes long. Powerful and engrossing, the deep chords and gushing melody glisten with optimism.

Picture this: you've conquered the Himalayas. You're standing there, alone, atop a snow-capped mountain range. You look out at your vast surrounds, filled with a sense of hope and achievement. The sun slowly begins to rise from a deep slumber. Each new beam of sunshine arrives with magnitude and intention. The warm and nourishing rays flood the vast surrounds with light; you look at your surroundings, you take it all in. The world feels new: untouched, untainted. You take a deep breath, filling your lungs with the freshest air on earth.

This is the soundtrack to exactly that moment.

The track comes with a stark and stunning video directed by Rahi Rezvani, watch it here
