Why do we like this?
I would like to claim Eden as an Australian, but it's possible that he may have some connection to our island brother New Zealand. Oh well, I guess I'll still write a review regardless! Eden Mulholland is a solo artist based in Melbourne, and the former frontman of Motocade, a band I remember fondly because of their single "Holy Moly."
Eden Mulholland has had a less conventional path in music; he actually began as a contemporary dancer before moving into music. So, as many frontman do these days, he created his own project -- somewhat different to his original band, as if he was yearning for a different musical path.
"I Will Echo" is far from conventional, and Eden showcases his chameleon-like vocals in this number. It's a combination of attitude, amiable pop and a bad ass bass that makes this song just so damn infectious.
Eden's debut album will be out in June 2013, and I'll keep you up to date in the meantime!
