Why do we like this?
Chicago producer Edamame has been cooking up beautiful electronic instrumentals for years now. We've been supporting Ed since 2012, so it feels good to premiere his new single, "Turquoise."
This lovely slice of ambient electronica warms my heart. The subtle jazz influence of a sax sample and steady hip-hop foundation bubbling up from the percussion reminds me of what first had us drifting away on Edamame's airy productions.
"Turquoise" comes from Edamame's forthcoming album, Paper Lanterns. The release is scheduled for February 1, the three year anniversary of Ed's debut release, Greenhouse.
