Why do we like this?
Chillstep. That's what we're calling this type of music. If you were to ask me, I'd say it's dubstep done right. So far, the sampling has included Soundsome's remix of Bonobo's "Stay The Same" and Adventure Club's remix of James Vincent McMorrow's "We Don't Eat." Coupled with KOAN's remix of Ed Sheeran's "The A-Team," this creates the perfect playlist for my fancy right now.
The original track marked 20-year-old Ed Sheeran's debut on the scene, hitting number 3 on UK charts. A native of West Yorkshire, Ed signed to Atlantic in January of 2011 and will be releasing his first album come September.
