There are so many layers to this track, it's like peeling the illest onion ever.
Eastside, a very under the radar band, recently dropped a Nykee Heaton-eqsue blended cover of Ed Sheeran's sultry "Don't" mixed with Chris Brown's banger "Loyal." That was fantastic, but then it was remixed by the talented Mr. Michael Keenan, who takes things to another level.
Keenan, who is a sought-after producer from New York City, has elevated the sound of guys like Skizzy Mars and James Ryan (aka Gloomfeather). He's now looking to carve out a bigger name for himself, and should rightfully be getting noticed after dropping remixes like this.
Speaking of Skizzy Mars, the homie hops on this one sounding slightly raspier than normal, which could be a product of recording right off a nation-wide tour. That said, he's still "eyes closed, smoking marijuana," letting us know "what goes around comes around, it's called karma." Good to know all's well.
