Bradley Zero's Rhythm Section label has risen to prominence off the back of a number of the last few years' best jazzy-house releases, with artists like Chaos In the CBD, Prequel, and Duke Hugh dominating the roster.
The label has now branched out a little however, with new recruits Earth Trax -- one half of Ptaki -- and Newborn Jr's first release.
While it keeps many of the sonic hallmarks of the Peckham label, "Flute Track" is a little grander in its ambitions, with a sound that would work as well in a large, muddy field as an intimate club space.
Part of that might be down to the expertly deployed Orbital sample -- and "Flute Track" melds the festival-ready euphoria to the warm, intimate sound that Rhythm Section is built on.
