Why do we like this?
Dynasty intros, "I got stories to tell that I feel in my spirit," and I'm already listening. The Queens-bred emcee goes on to shed a champion verse and then some, punctuated by the anthemic sound of worked-up brass. The chorus taunts perfectly before Skyzoo, who we featured back in January, drops his own shine.
Who is this girl? I first heard from the Tampa-based hip-hop/soul artist through her track "Stay Shinin'" with an equally undeniable beat and feature from Talib Kweli. Both tracks come off Dynasty's album, A Star in Life's Clothing, debuting October 16.
