"Mimosa" is the first taste of DYLYN, the new project from Toronto singer/songwriter Gwendolyn Lewis.
Merging 80s synth-pop with up-tempo dance beats, "Mimosa" is pulsating pop thumper embracing Diplo styled production, a punk edge, and DYLYN's sultry vocals.
"Many of us experience some form of anxiety throughout our lives,” the Toronto-based artist says about "Mimosa." "Some of us don’t even know it exists until something traumatic happens. We deal with it on a daily basis, and the smallest things can set us off. ‘Mimosa’ captures the inner struggle we go through in our heads, the battle to either drown in it or to fight it."
"Mimosa" is a cracking track and a tremendous introduction to what DYLYN is all about.
