Don't you just hate it when some young gun artist waltzes in and commences to completely defy all music genres in one single song? Let me be clear. By hate, I mean I am in awe of what the UK's Dylan Cartlidge has done with his newest release "Yellow Brick Road."
So let me explain - it's hip-hoppy without being overly explicit, it's indie with hints of mainstream production and lastly, it oozes soul, but has such a manic tempo. The delivery is powerfully succinct and i honestly haven't heard a flow this good since Niagara Falls.
Definitely an artist to watch out for this year and beyond!
