I always like to use song titles to make silly segues in my reviews, and DXHeaven's latest track is perfect for this purpose -- so here it goes! The Melbourne musician is such a mix of genres, and his music is so touched by multiple styles and elements, defining his music is always a predicament.
The simplest process here is just to focus on the enjoyment you gain from the track, and on his latest single "Define," there's certainly a lot to go around. Intriguing instrumental arrangement shifts tempo and feel throughout the track, drifting from moody and introspective to upbeat and euphoric -- but this doesn't confuse things (a delicate balancing act).
