Why do we like this?

I'm not sure that I've heard a track that can span the arena of gospel blues, rock, and techno, but "Big Tales" seems to be it, in all its outlaw glory.

Based out of Germany, DWIG (aka Ludwig Völker) recently released Big Tales EP on boutique label, Laut & Luise and the title track certainly remains the highlight. 

Minimal, wobbly weird, and massively colorful, "Big Tales" is one of those wildcard tracks that has the power to change the atmosphere in a room, simply by the weight of its unique presence. So much so that it's not typically something I would choose to write about, but it was so odd, I was spellbound.
