Why do we like this?
One seriously hot house jam that didn't make it onto Indie Shuffle last fall after its release is "Careless" by UK duo Dusky. Undoubtedly, if you spent time at any house shows -- and paid attention! -- this track will ring a bell.
Starting with a simple drum kick, "Careless" quickly slips into a heavy bass line. A chorus of percussions form early, with looping samples and fading, transparent bell-like sounds in the background. This track does a brilliant job of playing with subtlety throughout the six plus minutes.
