Why do we like this?
Currently on tour supporting Anderson .Paak, rising star DUCKWRTH has just premiered his latest release "Get Uugly."
Very similar to his tour mate, DUCKWRTH not only spits bars but often sings his own hooks. On "Get Uugly" he's joined by Georgia Anne Muldrow over the funky production that ends with a bluesy guitar solo.
The track is the first taste of his forthcoming EP, I'm Uugly, with DUCKWRTH having this to say about the song to Fader;
"UUGLY is funk. Funk is the pheromones that attract two, and the act of love happens. In this love making, nothing is held back, nothing is pretty. Sweat, aromas, moans and screams, gripping and grinding. Nothing is pretty; ALL is Funky. LET'S GET UUGLY."
I'm Uugly is set to drop this August.
