Why do we like this?

"Dreamcoat" is a perfectly appropriate name for this band. Let me explain why: Aside from the fact that their oozing alt-indie is dreamy, they have a warmth and familiarity to their sound that cloaks you in comfort.

Their simple, staccato percussion is immediately reminiscent of Local Natives, with the endless, ribboning guitars of Radiohead. Weaving through a panoply of sounds within a single song, "Winter" is a dynamic introduction to the Aussie four-piece.
