Why do we like this?

It's been almost a year since rising Southern rapper Dre Cruise dropped the addictive single "Reckless." Since then he's been locked away in the studio honing his skills and putting the finishing touches on his yet to be titled forthcoming debut EP.

"Up Close" is the first release from the project and displays Cruise's smooth flow over Dave Cappa's (Kevin Gates, G-Eazy) popping production. The track finds Cruise chasing his dream girl, with the singles cover artwork a glimpse at what Cruise is attracted too.
