Why do we like this?
This song starts out a little bit moody and slow, but at the 1 minute mark it unfolds into a beautiful auditory mess of piano, muddy underlying instrumental, and a little bit of triangle. The end result is lovely to my ear, and hopefully lovely to yours as well.
Dratz recently released an album called Dream Emulator. It's moody as heck and reminds me quite a lot of Lone at times (a favorite electronic producer of mine). Each song on the album seems to vary quite substantially in its approach, but there's definitely an underlying Japanese synthwavey vibe to it all.
Ultimately if there's only one song you listen to from the album, I think it should be "Our Souls," which is why I'm sharing it with you today :)
